A lot of times during this assignment I would, without even thinking, zoom in to take a picture. It was difficult to remember to keep shooting wide, but shooting wide was useful. I was able get more into one shot. In the first picture I was able to get the whole building, and the flagpole in front. One thing I did notice while shooting wide is that the foreground is very prominent. While I was looking through my pictures at home I noticed that the foreground in my first picture wasn't very interesting, but I didn't have any other pictures that were more interesting, so I chose that photo. Next time I shoot wide I will remember to think about the foreground first and frame my picture so it will look better.
In my second shot I was able to get all of the scouts in the picture by shooting wide. In the third shot I was able to get the scouts, the police officer and some of his car. By shooting wide I was able to fit more into my shot and tell more of the story.
